Mees Peijnenburg (Tokyo, 1989) is a Dutch director whose shorts were nominated for the Crystal Bear at the Berlinale. His first feature, "Paradise Drifters" (2020), developed at the Cannes Cinéfondation, premiered at the Berlinale and won the Golden Calf. He is noted for his distinct visual style and narrative experimentation.

Synopsis
