Daniel Hendler (Montevideo, 1976) is a multi-talented actor, director, and screenwriter. After winning the Silver Bear for Best Actor at the Berlinale for "Lost Embrace," he directed "Norberto's Deadline" (2010) and "The Candidate" (2016). In 2025, he premiered "Un cabo suelto" at the Venice Film Festival and received a Special Mention at San Sebastián.
