Tobías Nölle (Switzerland) is a filmmaker whose debut "Aloys" won the FIPRESCI Prize at the 2016 Berlinale. Loran Bonnardot is a doctor and filmmaker whose co-produced short "37°4 S" won a Special Mention at Cannes. Together they collaborate on projects that blend narrative experimentation with personal inquiry.

Synopsis

For thirty years, a Parisian doctor has found a spiritual refuge on Tristan da Cunha, the world's most remote inhabited island. Now 50, he seeks to become a permanent resident. Oscillating between documentary, fiction, and dreamscape, the film questions where the soul truly resides in its lifelong pursuit of solitude.
