Miguel Ángel Delgado (Spain) is a visual artist and filmmaker with a degree in Audiovisual Communication. Founder of Morelli Producciones, he has developed projects for major art centers and festivals like Seoul Art Space and Márgenes. He is a professor of experimental cinema at Escuela SUR and a curator of contemporary art programs in Spain and Palestine.

Synopsis
October 1936. The Franco regime opens concentration camps across Spain, turning the San Simón lazaretto into a site of repression amidst overwhelming beauty. Director Delgado uses claustrophobic close-ups and stark black-and-white photography to convey the anguish of the prisoners. Eschewing academic reconstruction, the film offers a non-sentimental interrogation of how a country manages its recent past.
