Bi Gan (Kaili, 1989) is a Chinese director, screenwriter, and poet, considered one of the most unique voices in contemporary cinema. His work is noted for its poetic imprint and exploration of time and memory. He achieved international acclaim with "Kaili Blues" (2015), winning Best Emerging Director at Locarno, and "Long Day's Journey into Night" (2018), which premiered at Cannes Un Certain Regard.

Synopsis
