Synopsis

Eight months pregnant, producer Madalena struggles to finish a low-budget sci-fi film written by her late father after the director mysteriously vanishes. Evoking the spirit of João Cabral de Melo Neto’s "Morte e Vida Severina," the film becomes a metaphor for gestation—a rite of passage where the act of filming is an act of survival amidst crumbling surroundings.
