Ludovic and Zoran Boukherma (France, 1992) studied at L'École de la Cité, founded by Luc Besson. Their debut "Willy the 1st" premiered at Cannes in 2016. They returned to Cannes in 2020 with "Teddy" and released the shark-themed thriller "Year of the Shark" (L'Année du requin) in 2022.

Synopsis
Set in August 1992 in Eastern France, the film follows Anthony over four crucial summers separated by two-year ellipses. The narrative portrays the suburban environment and how it conditions the expectations of youth, exploring the development of "toxic masculinities" and the clumsy search for love. Time itself becomes a character, shakes the protagonists out of their boredom.
