Synopsis

Vilnius, 2022. Marija, a high-ranking executive, chooses the worst possible moment to discuss divorce with her husband: the eve of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. In this context, the film questions if Lithuania is next on Putin's list. Blaževičius explores the limits of empathy and privilege, reflecting on the realization that one might not be as "good" as they believed. Combining domestic drama with a devastating global vision, the director introduces elements of effective comedy that interweave with the surrounding environmental harshness.
