Teodora Ana Mihai (Bucharest) is a Belgian-Romanian filmmaker. Her debut fiction feature "La Civil" (2021) won the Prix de l'Audace at Cannes. Her follow-up, "Traffic," won the Warsaw Grand Prix. "Heysel 85" is her third fiction feature.

Synopsis
A fictional recreation of the 1985 Heysel Stadium tragedy. Director Teodora Ana Mihai avoids spectacle, instead interrogating the "bread and circus" machinery of modern football. It is a bitter reflection on moral responsibility and the terrifying ease with which the show goes on.
