Igor Bezinović (Croatia, 1983) graduated from the Academy of Dramatic Art in Zagreb. His work includes "A Brief Excursion" (2017), which won the Big Golden Arena for Best Film at Pula. His latest film, "Fiume o morte!" (2024), won the Tiger Award and the FIPRESCI Prize at Rotterdam.

Synopsis
A provocative and experimental account of the 1919 siege of Fiume by poet Gabriele D'Annunzio. Using thousands of historical photographs, the film reflects on how easily the flames of fascism are ignited, blending bitter humor with a radical, low-budget form.
