Gaizka Urresti (Bilbao, 1967) is a director, producer, and professor. He won the Goya Award for Best Fiction Short Film in 2013 for "Abstenerse agencias." His work includes the documentary "Un Dios que ya no ampara," a Goya finalist. He is a prominent figure in Spanish audiovisual production and film education.

Synopsis
A documentary portrait of an "enfant terrible" of Spanish cinema who fell into the depths of addiction only to return through his obsession with film. Gaizka Urresti uses agile editing to connect the director’s visceral work with Spain’s political transition. It is an intimate, admiring look at a creator who never renounced his artistic freedom.
