Synopsis

Nine-year-old Milo grows under the pressure of becoming a Malambo dancer and the "perfect son." Dreaming of escape, he fantasizes about a life in Buenos Aires, a city he knows only through cinema. The film constructs a sharp contrast between rural innocence and urban grit, echoing the traditions of Argentine cinema—from the tutelary ghost of Leonardo Favio’s "Crónica de un niño solo" to the contemporary lens of Luis Ortega.
