Adrián Biniez (Buenos Aires, 1974) is a director based in Uruguay. His film "Gigante" (2009) won the Silver Bear at the Berlinale. His subsequent works, "The 5" (2015) and "The Waves" (2017), were selected for Mar del Plata and San Sebastián. In 2024, he directed "Everybody Wants to Rule the World" and wrote the screenplay for "The Man Who Loved UFOs."

Synopsis

An ensemble piece set in Montevideo over a single weekend. Four young actors prepare for a high-stakes entrance exam, their stories reflecting the vulnerability of vocational pursuit.
