Ángel Santos (Marín, Spain, 1976) holds a degree in Art History and a diploma in Film Direction from CECC. He debuted with "Dos fragmentos/Eva" (2010) and gained international recognition with "Las altas presiones" (2014). His latest work is "Así chegou a noite" (2023). He is a film critic, educator, and co-founder of the Pontevedra International Film Festival (Novos Cinemas).

Synopsis
A character study of silence and isolation set against the rugged Galician coast. As a sculptor retreats from society, his laconic exterior hides deep-seated melancholia. The arrival of a former lover triggers a contemplative exploration of emotional disconnect. The direction favors a sober, observational pace, utilizing expansive frames to transform the landscape into a reflection of the protagonist's psyche.
