The ghost train has vanished from Gaza’s amusement park, yet the entire place feels haunted. Still, life persists among the ruins. In February 2009, filmmaker Wadimoff captures everyday life—particularly that of children and teenagers coping with destruction and uncertainty. His gaze lingers on fishermen, on a classroom where a clown attempts to incorporate the reality of bombs and chaos into children’s games, and on the testimony of a young boy who has already witnessed too much death, yet refuses to give up.
